DORIA (sold out)
$295.00 CAD
People are often surprised to learn that Doria was named after the fated ship. Her grandfather worked as a deckhand on the vessel, and he met and fell in love with a wealthy passenger who eventually became his wife. The ship became a symbol of love and fate within their family, and Doria’s name pays reverence to it. Young Doria, understandably, became fascinated with the story, and as an adult has even modeled her bedroom after the Fornasetti room on board. She works as a visual artist who incorporates found objects into her art, believing each component she discovers is a fateful encounter. Once while searching through a salvage yard she happened upon an abandoned puppy. The two were immediately inseparable, and Andy and Doria now have their own tale of fated love.
