Hughes was a beloved English teacher for many years, and after retiring decided to pursue another passion. He now serves ice cream from his truck Much Ado About Ice Cream. It’s an unmistakeable presence in the neighbourhood as it plays Shakespeare’s most famous sonnets from its speakers instead of the traditional song. While all his flavours are tasty, he’d recommend the Rumeo and Raisinet or Lady Machip.
