Millie was a dedicated and driven student, and after graduating achieved much early success in London’s financial world. But she hated it, and knew this was not the life for her. Burnt out and a bit lost, she went to Dorset to stay with her favourite aunt. Her fog gradually lifted, and with her aunt’s encouragement, Millie began weaving - a hobby she’d always found calming as a child. She found herself endlessly inspired by Dorset’s landscape and the natural world - something she yearned for while living in London. She quickly built a reputation within her local arts community, and began selling her pieces in craft sales, and was even picked up by a prominent gallery in London. She eventually settled in a perfect little cottage just down the lane from her aunt’s, and nearly every evening they bike to their nearby pub for a chat, a pint and some supper.
