BUNNY | antique textile collection (sold out)

Bunny, Bitsy’s fraternal twin sister, collects Clarice Cliff pottery, sustains herself with buttered toast, and never rises before 10am. She and her twin split their time between an inherited flat on the Upper West Side and an old fishing cottage in Maine, both of which are decorated with obscure mementos and in riotous colours. Bunny was married once very briefly in her early twenties, but her husband refused to have Bitsy live with them, so she left in the middle of the night, taking only her parrot Hubert with her, and never again uttered her husband’s name.

Composition: inset panel of antique hand embroidery surrounded by vintage French ribbon, with lavender cotton trimmed with scarlet bullion, the reverse bubblegum pink velvet. Metal zipper.
Care Instructions: dry clean only
Condition Note: the textile showcased in this piece is over fifty years old, and as such, may show minor signs of wear.
