JANOU (sold out)

Jovial, jumbled Janou! A skilled lampshade maker, Janou paints all his pieces by hand, and creates ornate trims to complement his designs. They’re unexpected, always delightful and sought after by the design community. He works in the carriage house behind his home - a somewhat derelict building that is surrounded by overgrown plants. He’s messy and disorganized, but Janou thrives in his environment. He knows where everything is and detests when his wife encourages him to tidy up. However, it’s mostly feigned annoyance. He adores his wife, and would be lost without her. She brings him lunch everyday (usually a sandwich on pumpernickel), manages his business, and is his best friend. They walk hand in hand every evening, and on Fridays they treat themselves to an ice cream.

Composition: olive green velvet trimmed with French Art Deco metallic woven ribbon, pink and chartreuse fine antique bullion and olive green cotton brush, with an avocado cotton reverse. Metal zipper.
